What a Session Might Look Like

I usually ask you to `Check-in’ with how you're doing at that moment.

We will talk about what has happened since the last time we met - events, changes, things you’ve noticed.

As we move through the session, I may ask you to become aware of what is happening inside your body, both physically and emotionally.

I will bring your attention to shifts that I see in the way you are speaking or acting as you talk about people and events in your life.

Sometimes, I will invite you to engage in a `process' (you can always say “No”). A process is a technique, often using your imagination, to get in touch with and let go of old emotions.

There may be some `homework’ to do before we meet again.

I will check to see if it's a good place to stop.

We will bring the session to a close.

We can meet in person or talk online.
